Woah, I was bummed out! I just read my "Coming Clean" blog and while I still have frustrating issues to deal with, so does everybody else. I should have updated this site long ago as life has been much better lately. I met with my doctor and she was able to change my medications to work better for me and I very rarely have to deal with too much pain anymore. I go rolling around town at least three times a week in my chair for as long as three hours. My shoulders have been getting much stronger by doing so too. Of course, I still have to be careful not to aggravate them, especially my left shoulder, but it seems the stronger they get, the less likely they are to get hurt. I'm still not quite to the point to where I can get great cardio workouts, but I do okay and I know it gets better every time I go out. The domino effect such as with everything else... the more, the more... While being so much more active, I have been feeling much better throughout the day and my sleep schedule has improved dramatically as well. No, I'm not bummed, "I'm so happy to be here!" - Eddie Murphy - From the movie Coming to America.

Jake ~
As always you are an inspiration to those of us lucky enough to know and love you. Not only are you dealing with your injuries in ways that would put the majority of us to shame if we had to deal with the same situation, but you are still a loving, giving, wonderful man. You make the time to let everyone in your life know that you care, even when I'm sure there are times you would rather throw a lil personal pity party due to the changes in your life.
You are an amazing creature with a huge heart and a beautiful mind. I love and appreciate all that you are. You are the one person in this world I can consistently turn to to celebrate, mourn, laugh or just exist with. You Rock Babe!!
